The current works in progress by other authors....

Broken Publications started out as me wanting to avoid contracts and complications and tiny royalty rates from traditional publishers. I began self-publishing and realized that the process really isn't too horribly difficult... you just need to know what to do and how to do it.

So I did....

We've officially taken on two other authors to publish through Broken Publications!




Jessica "Tomi" Kaiser

Married to David Kaiser and born in 1983, Tomi is a ball of creative energy who never stops writing stories and music. She's been writing, singing, and playing numerous instruments from childhood, and enjoys every moment of it. Recently signed to a small record label in Colorado, Tomi is working her way to stardom through various musical and writing endeavors.

The first book that will be published through Broken Publications is called "Metaphor." A beautifully composed sci-fi/fantasy novel for young adults, this novel is sure to captivate and inspire its audience. Though the official release date has not yet been determined as it is still in editing and cover design stages, updates will be posted regularly.

After official release, availability will be through Amazon, Lulu.com, and Smashwords.com as an eBook for virtually all eReading devices. Stay tuned for future updates!



Jennifer Popescu

Married to Alexandru Popescu and born in 1984, Jen is a wise and free-spirited poet with a wide range of emotional and haunting pieces to share. Jen is the most recent addition to the Broken Publications author circle, and is hard at work finalizing and perfecting her manuscript of poetry.

Her first work will be an anthology of poetry gathered over recent years of living life and all its ups and downs. An old soul, Jen will surely have many works that people can relate to through living life, while mesmerizing her readers with ethereal passages and vivid imagery.

That's the good news. The bad news is that somewhere in transit, the thumbnail of the cover image was inverted. This doesn't affect the printing, however, so if you DO choose to order a book, it will still have the beautiful black cover =).

The dream is no longer just a dream....
As a published author, poet, and weaver of dreams, I wanted to share my knowledge and stories with the world. One book down, only a million more ideas to get out into this crazy world...

As I do my usual research and consider all options, I realize that my own work is taking a backseat to my clients' work. However, the more work I do, the more places my name will appear, and the more people can become aware of who I am, what Broken Publications is, and what we do here!

My goal is to help amazing and perhaps undiscovered authors turn their own dreams into a reality... being published. Broken Publications is like a weird combination of vanity and traditional publishing. We charge you for services, but if we publish your work, you pay for the ISBN (at a very steep discount) and any excessive work we have to do... the basics will cost you a modest percentage of royalties (not nearly as much as traditional publishers cost... we pay you 70% of profits instead of 8% - 12% royalty ... let's face it... that's diddly!).

Because we work through print on demand technology and can refer you to our preferred printing presses for affordable printing services, getting your hands on your own book is easier than ever... and we've already done all the research for you.

Even if you just want publishing advice, we're here to give you some insights on what to do, how to find your info, where to look, and an array of other author resources out there.
